Headline: Something Fishy in Kentucky Waters
The two guys cheated in fishing tournaments by adding their own previously caught bass into their mix. For a while they were doing great, reeling in the cash winnings and even a bass boat. I wonder who the big mouth was that told on them? Worm.
Even though it was wrong, you have to hand it to them for fooling those tournament judges so well for such a long time. One might say the judges fell for that scam hook, line, and sinker.
But when the scales of justice were tipped in the wrong direction, all they ended up with is getting their bass thrown into the county jail.
Unfortunately for them, it was not a catch and release program.
A pair of fishing buddies were charged with 10 felonies after being accused of cheating in fishing tournaments on Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley on the Kentucky-Tennessee border.Instead of the age old story about the fish that got away, this is a story of the two fisherman that didn't get away.
