Feeling Sort of Disney
Headline: Woman Loses Consciousness After Disney Ride
It really is a small world afterall.
ORLANDO, Florida (AP) -- A woman lost consciousness while getting off a Walt Disney World ride, which two people have died on in the past 13 months, authorities said.Wow, it's hard to believe she got sick on the same, exact ride as those other 2 people who died earlier in the year.
It really is a small world afterall.

I used to work there so long ago...there were actually a lot more of these incidents than the public knows about...
what are you saving the "untold stories" of the magic kingdom for? :)
It's been a while, so me and my senile mind can't recall much detail. But there are stories surrounding rides, especially like Space Mountain, of people standing up and losing limbs or heads (literally)...I do wish I wrote them down in retrospect.
yeah. decapitation is always an attention getter. :)
Now I hate rides; they scare me. One time my husband tricked me to go on one and I ended up saying Hail Marys--I was so terrified. If people are so thrill deprived, work in the public schools or become an ER nurse.
EOTR: no doubt! however, those kinds of thrills require thought...and thus the birth of amusement parks. :)
This had to have been on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Or maybe that spinning teacups ride.
I lost consciousness at the Germany beer garden at Epcot once. Very scary!
Hi, just went to disney in June. I have small kids and we ride what I hope are the safe rides. Still, too many things have happened in Mission Space. People, however, should take some responsibility and not ride on those things if they have medical conditions...
Rocky, you have the best sense of humor!
Pavel: thanks for your comment, I totally agree. Brings to mind a whole new concept of "g force" ... Gee, you think we should go on that ride??
