The Soft Glow

Sad to say, both Don Knotts and Darren McGavin died recently.

Not that I'm writing obits now, but wanted to mention I thought those guys were so funny and will always be remembered by me, mostly through a couple of my all-time favorite movies: The Ghost and Mr. Chicken and A Christmas Story.

This proves how fra-gee-lay life is, but they can go on knowing the world was a funnier place because of them.

"Atta boy, Luther!"

I have a little night-light (the kind that plugs into the socket) of that lamp. It's a hoot.

Christmas Story is one of my very favorite movies. The "major award" scene is the best. "It could be a bowling alley!"

You forgot (what I think is) Don Knott's BEST roll. And that is "Das Limpit!". The Incredible Mr. Limpit.

never will I forget Mr. Limpet - as a matter of fact, I'm making those sonar-ear-splitting noises even as I type. :)
