Headline: Mass. Dam Concerns Prompt Evacuations

I just heard a Fox News correspondent say emergency workers are going door-to-door with loud speakers urging residents to evacuate. The whole point of using a loud speaker is to avoid having to actually go door-to-door. Here's what I imagine:

Emergency Worker: ding-dong
Resident: Hello?
Emergency Worker: YOU MUST EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY (squelch) YOU MUST LEAVE THE AREA OR DROWN. (crrrr)
Resident: Huh? What? (ears ringing, eyebrows firmly plastered to
forehead)

I sure hope everything comes out alright - slow and easy. Otherwise, it would be a dam shame.
