Ride The Lightning

Headline: Singapore scientists embrace plan for cyberhugs
SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Singapore scientists looking for ways to transmit the sense of touch over the Internet have devised a vibration jacket for chickens and are thinking about electronic children's pyjamas for cyberspace hugs.
Vibrating jackets for chickens? What the hell? I guess if tests go badly, you'll know what's for dinner. And what if the kid is a bedwetter? That just has disaster written all over it.

I don't think this is what Leo Buscaglia had in mind when trying to convince the world to love each other. This whole concept will surely be used by the dark side of humanity - it's only a matter of time.

Personally, I wouldn't be caught dead in electronic PJs. Now, a chicken jacket? Well, that's whole 'nuther Oprah right there.

If cyber hugs via vibrating vests are being tested now by these mad scientists, does that mean "Grab Ass Vibrating Underwear" are just around the corner?
