I think I would've just said "Phuket" and moved somewhere else.
Thais living in the area say life is better, though they know full recovery will take years.Talk about resilience. How could they muster enough strength to go on after a devastating tsunami like that one. Amazing.

I know, it's amazing how people go back to some place after something like that just because it's their home. I don't think I could do that either.
I can see how they'd do it.
They are a resilient people. Many of them exist, even in our country.
