Headline: Cell phone lodged in woman's throat

Decker said police were told that the woman tried to swallow the telephone because she didn't want the boyfriend to have it.

No doubt she was trying to conceal her previous calls/address book from the guy. If I were the boyfriend I would have not only called her, but also hit the redial button at least 20 times before she got to the hospital.

What would have been especially satisfying is if the ring tone was set to vibrate-dash-dash, which would've made her sound like those guys who speak with those voice-box thingys pressed against their necks.

Good thing for her the phone didn't continue to travel throughout her body. The roaming charges alone would've killed her and I would assume the reception would've been really crappy.
